Bob and Ray's Corner

Bob and Ray's CornerAs enthusiastic coin collectors from our earliest years, Bob and Ray are also members of the Charlottesville Stamp Club. We now meet at 7 PM at the Mary Williams Community Senior Center, 674 Hillsdale Drive, Charlottesville, VA.  The Center is at the rights end of the JABA building with plenty of parking.
While our attention is on philatelic education in culture, geography, and history; we do have auctions, quizzes, and social events every year.  Like our friendly coin club, we always welcome visitors.  Check us out!

Here is the latest update (February 2020) from Ray...

"Our Charlottesville Stamp Club just had a presentation by two UVA professors on how stamps and envelopes have affected our country in various way.  Absolutely fascinating!  And our coin club also has fascinating talks on the history and impact of coins in our country and the world.  All those interested in both hobbies, please see us."

Information re the spring Coin & Stamp show will be Presented at the meeting. Show date is Saturday April 11. Raffle tickets will be available at the February meeting.

We have a fifty fifty drawing ($2 for 5 tickets, or $5 for 13) benefits the club.

We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday, arrive by 5 if possible to have social time and to enjoy the dinner. If you have a question email me back.
